I recognize that the topic of scope of practice is controversial. I know first hand how disagreeing about roles and responsibilities can interfere with the cohesiveness of a treatment team. Looking
back to my first years in private practice, there are conversations on this topic I wish I would have done differently. However recognizing every experience as an opportunity for growth, I can safely say I learned from my mistakes and recognize that shying away from the topic is not beneficial for anyone (treatment team or client).
