Abri Radically Open DBT (RO DBT) is a full fidelity RO DBT outpatient practice in downtown Portland.
RO DBT is an evidence based, trans-diagnostic treatment for disorders of over-control including restrictive eating disorders, exercise addiction, OCD and treatment resistant anxiety and depression. The research into its effectiveness in treating restrictive eating disorders is strong, and it is being integrated into eating disorder recovery programs in Europe and the US – the Maudsley Program, the ERC and Opal Food and Body Wisdom being a few examples. Abri offers individual RO therapy and RO classes for both adults and adolescents.
Abri was founded and is led by Kirsten McAteer, LPC and LiLin Hally, LCSW who are both part of a small worldwide cohort of RO DBT Senior Clinicians who have had the privilege of working closely with the treatment developer, Dr. Thomas Lynch. In addition, the Abri team includes RO Scholar and Abri Senior Clinician Shadee Hardy, LCSW (who has expertise in the treatment of misophonia), Amber Henin, LPC, CéShaun Hankins, LCSW and Lisa Klavans-Rekosh, LCSW. Bios and how to get started can be found on our web site – www.abriradicallyopendbt.com.
