I believe that every individual is searching for connection and meaning in their lives. It is my goal as a therapist to help people rediscover themselves and aid them in finding what makes them feel connected to the world around them. It is through positive psychology and the understanding and repairing of relationships in their lives that will help with this goal. My approach utilizes Humanistic Psychology, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Mindfulness, Transpersonal Psychology, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Systemic Therapy. I am trained in treating anxiety, depression, relationships, eating disorders, and using EMDR and mindfulness techniques. I have also begun Level 1 training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. Other special interests include: mind/ body/ spirituality, existentialism, attachment, sexuality, gender and sexual orientation, grief/ loss, career, identity and self-love.
