Stephanie Wichmann is a Clinical Social Worker (Portland State University) and a Registered Drama Therapist (NADTA). She’s worked in healthcare and non-profit settings for over 13 years. She’s currently on the board of directors for the Columbia River Eating Disorders Network (CREDN). She volunteered as the Diversity Chair (2017-2019) North American Drama Therapy Association on the Cultural Humility, Equity and Diversity Committee.
Stephanie works with (13+) adolescents, young adults, and adults providing support for a range of emotional issues however having primary experience working with clients affected by disordered eating, eating disorders, grief & loss, adjustment issues. She also has a great passion for working with and supporting LGBTQIA2S+ and GNC clients.
In a comfortable atmosphere, clients will develop skills and tools to cope in creative and compassionate ways. Stephanie can offer drama and story to help in the healing process.
Also, if appropriate Stephanie can include some outdoors into the therapy process: using sitting together outside, gentle walking, mindfulness, and nature to help increase connection to self, others and the greater environment.
