Abby Ernst

Biographical Info I specialize in working with teens and young adults who struggle with eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety, adulting, self-esteem, LGBTQ acceptance, HAES, Intuitive Eating, and self-exploration. I hold a Masters in Counseling from Lewis and Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling. I received an additional certification for Eating Disorder Treatment during my time in graduate school. I believe that counseling involves a relationship of mutual respect and collaboration. I believe that clients are the experts of their own experience and the stories we tell ourselves and others impact how we see ourselves in the world. My role as a counselor is to provide a space where you can show up authentically as your whole self. While I like to look at problems holistically, I am influenced by Affirmative, Narrative, and Person-Centered Therapy. Now, who am I really: I love to cook for my friends and family, sing and dance to Lizzo, create the perfect coffee drink, and get crafty. I am a silly, loud laughed gay plant mom with an affinity for floral print. Please get in touch so we can start exploring what recovery looks like for you.
