I’ve been practicing primary care for nearly 10 years and I love seeing a variety of patients, but I especially enjoy mental health, women’s health, and chronic condition management. I’m relatively new to Health at Every Size (HAES) and Intuitive Eating (IE) and I’m still learning about eating disorders/treatment. My clinic isn’t fully HAES aligned (yet). This is a work in progress since the system in which I work and the medical system at large is still weight centered, and I feel it’s important to be transparent about that. I collaborate with a network of local eating disorder (ED) specialists and have a growing panel of ED patients but I am not an expert in the field.

I do not believe that weight is an indicator of health and by pivoting focus elsewhere, can help patients meet their needs. My goal is to meet each patient with compassion and understanding, wherever they are in their journey, and to be a partner for their health. I’m LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and kink/poly aware and affirming. I practice trauma informed care and welcome body size/ability diversity.

My positionality: I’m a cis gendered, straight, able bodied, straight sized, intuitively eating, white woman.
