You’ve been in treatment before, followed your meal plan, and worked hard at recovery – but the eating disorder still feels like it’s waiting in the background. You may wonder, “Is recovery really possible for me?” If you’re exhausted from fighting and longing for something more freeing, I want you to know you’re not alone.
I’ve been in eating disorder recovery for 15 years myself, and working in the field for 8 years across Residential, PHP, and IOP levels of care. I believe recovery can be sustainable, meaningful, and freeing. I’d be honored to help you find your way there.
I approach counseling through a trauma-informed, collaborative, and compassionate lens. My work is grounded in Parts Work, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). This means that our work will focus on increasing self-understanding, building emotional awareness, and processing present-moment experience.
I believe that every part of a person develops for a reason and deserves curiosity, compassion, and understanding rather than judgment. Together we will explore thoughts, emotions, relational patterns, and lived experiences to foster greater self-awareness, emotional healing, and more meaningful connections with yourself and others.
