Katie Kotsovos, LPC

I work with folks 18 and older on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment issues, disordered eating and body image. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative and transparent. I’m trained in somatic- and attachment-focused EMDR for processing traumatic memories and addressing the roots of anxiety and depression. My work is driven by Health At Every Size, fat liberation and social justice. I hope to help you explore and protect values that truly support your health wellness, as well as overcome barriers to living those values, such as worry, perfectionism and negative self-evaluation. I want to hold space for the reality that your eating disorder has been an attempt to get your needs met–it’s just not sustainable. You, as much as anyone else, deserve health and healing.
