Anna Jurken

Hi! I’m Anna (she/her), a Clinical Social Work Associate based in Portland. I partner with young adults and adults working to heal their relationship with food, exercise, and body image.

Having worked directly in residential eating disorder treatment, I bring a strong foundational knowledge of eating disorders to my outpatient practice. My goal is to help individuals challenge harmful patterns relating to food and exercise in order to reconnect with their values and most embodied selves.

I have a distinct focus on working with athletes. Within sports culture, expectations related to sport often contribute heavily to eating and body image concerns. I help athletes navigate these unique pressures and focus on finding joy in movement.

In my practice, I blend Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to create a collaborative, compassionate space for recovery.
