Hi, I'm Ellie! I enjoy supporting clients in exploring body image and patterns of disordered eating through a compassion-focused, non-judgmental, and systems-informed lens. I strive to create an accepting and supportive space in sessions for clients to feel truly seen and heard. I utilize a person-centered approach in accompanying clients on this journey with warmth, humanness, a dose of humor, and unconditional positive regard. I believe that healing can happen through supported exploration and compassionate connection to trusting and caring humans. It is deeply important to me that I incorporate approaches which honor the unique needs of every client, as it is my hope that this can be a space in which clients feel supported, celebrated, and cared for. I enjoy bringing curiosity into this work and meeting clients where they are at - I see the therapy process as one which is creative and collaborative between client and counselor. I typically work with clients age 16+. I am neurodiversity affirming and welcoming of each client's unique experiences and needs. I have completed the eating disorder counseling certificate program at Lewis and Clark and I am completing EMDR training in June of 2025.
At this time, my clinic is able to accept the following insurance plans:
IHN OHP; Jackson Care Connect OHP; PacificSource commercial insurance; PacificSource OHP; CareOR/HealthShare OHP.
Please see my psychology today page for additional information about therapy services offered.

I am a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach in the Portland area who believes connection is the most significant ingredient in any relationship. Our relationship with exercises, our relationship with food, our relationship with our body - all of it is centered around connection with ourselves and others. My training methodology follows this belief - our work together is just as much around mental growth as it is physical accomplishment. We focus on what healthy means for YOU and develop a supportive road map to get you there.
I've been training for about 4 years, and I've been an athlete my entire life, and have worked through my own struggles around food and body image. I aim to add to the supportive network of individuals involved in helping people re-establish a healthy relationship with food and exercise.

Hi! I'm Natalie, and I provide virtual individual therapy sessions for adolescents and adults in Oregon.
To me, therapy is about having a place where you can come, be yourself, and use the space to explore the thoughts and feelings that you may not feel comfortable expressing outside of therapy. Whether your goals are about healing or changing, therapy can be that extra tool to help you figure out how to get there. Many of the clients I have worked have goals related to body image dissatisfaction, trauma, emotional stability, disorder eating and eating disorders, self-harm, depression, and anxiety.
Eating disorders are never one-size-fits-all. The way I support clients in addressing their eating behaviors in therapy really depends on what their goals are, how the behaviors are impacting their life, and the underlying reasons beneath the behaviors. Additionally, if you're feeling shame, guilt, or insecurity related to your appearance, this is absolutely something we can explore in therapy.
I work from a Health at Every Size (HAES) lens and am open to working with clients of all background and identities.

I received a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master of Science in Integrative Medicine Research in 2019. After medical school, I completed one year of residency in an academic setting and two years of residency in a private practice setting in the Portland, Oregon metro area. My clinical education and residency focused on mental health and primary care with additional training in women’s health, musculoskeletal health, and other modalities unique to naturopathic medicine. I enjoy working with all patients but especially gravitate toward care for underserved and marginalized communities such as the LGBTQIA+ community, highly-sensitive and neurodiverse individuals, and people in bigger bodies. I am particularly dedicated to serving my patients in a way that is trauma-informed and considers intersectionality every step of the way, and I am always working on improving my performance in this area.

I received my Master’s degree from Lewis and Clark college in Portland, OR in counseling psychology and addictions studies. Here I completed a 3 year Eating Disorder Certificate program. I have been working as a counselor in various capacities since 2006 including outpatient, intensive-outpatient, residential treatment, and acute psychiatric hospital settings. I have experience treating various Eating Disorder spectrum diagnosis including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Exercise Addiction and Body Dysmorphic Disorder. I also have experience treating Substance Use Disorders, and other mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, relationship issues, and mood fluctuations.
My personal style of counseling is holistic in nature, as I come from a humanistic belief that every individual has the ability to change. From this approach, the individual learns how to utilize their own inner strengths to find more purpose and meaning in their life. I utilize a Health and Every Size approach (HAES) and draw from Intuitive Eating interventions when appropriate. My role as a counselor is to highlight each individual’s power to change, helping them to gain more awareness in how to live a more fulfilling and authentic life.
