Brooke Terry
Biographical Info I have been working as a clinician for a little over a year, and am currently a registered professional counselor associate in the state of Oregon. Experience: - Outpatient and residential-level treatment of addiction and co-occurring mental health issues - Private group practice - Psychoeducational groups for addicts and their families I have familiarity with multiple therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and brief-solution-focused therapy. As a clinician, I believe in showing up authentically for my clients. I care deeply about providing clients with individualized care that is compassionate, empathetic, and reliable. I desire to make a difference in this profession through my determination to create positive change in our society. As I continue to grow as a clinician, I am hoping to have the opportunity to expand my clinical skill set by working more with those who struggle with eating disorders. I implement the HAES principles into my therapeutic style while meeting my clients wherever they may be on their healing journey. I am currently pursuing more education around this work.
