Biographical Info
Kelly specializes in perinatal mental health and body image issues. She does not work with acute eating disorders including anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa, nor does Kelly see clients that are stepping down from IOP. A referral will be provided if you are seeking care for a diagnosed eating disorder. Kelly is a certified intuitive eating counselor and utilizes several modalities with clients, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness, Self-Compassion (Kristin Neff) Language of Emotions (Karla McLaren) Breath work and Yoga. Kelly is originally from New York City and studied at Manhattan College where she obtained both a Bachelor of Arts in Education (English) and a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling. Kelly is both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Oregon and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of New York working in private practice. She holds national board certification with the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) and lives just outside of Portland, OR with her family.
