Katie Wood
Biographical Info Katie Wood, RYT (they/she) is a queer, plural, white art-therapist-in-training. Katie is in their third and final year of graduate school at Lewis and Clark College, and will graduate in June 2023 with a degree in art therapy and a certificate in eating disorders counseling. Katie has worked in the mental health field for over six years, working as a skills counselor in a dual-diagnosis program, as well as working as a program manager for a nationwide organization that serves adults with developmental disabilities. Katie completed their practicum at a children’s day treatment program, and is currently completing their internship at Full Spectrum Therapy, LLC, a queer- and trans-owned practice that serves individuals and families of all ages across the LGBTQIA+ spectrum. Katie lives with their partner and two fur friends in Portland, OR, and enjoys playing piano, drawing and sculpting, practicing yoga, playing board games, hiking, rock-hounding, and gardening.
