I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, body image distress, and anxiety. My work is trauma-informed, relational, and integrates evidence-based practices like EMDR and CBT. I support women navigating disordered eating with a lens of compassion, curiosity, and clinical care.
I also offer faith-integrated therapy for clients seeking Christian-based counseling. My approach honors the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—while gently addressing the roots beneath food and body struggles.
In addition to individual therapy, I’m the creator of Darling, Arise, an online course helping moms raise daughters with confidence in their bodies and peace around food.
I see clients virtually in Oregon and California.

Bio
My counseling philosophy is rooted in the idea that all humans have the ability to grow and heal. No human being is broken, and most mental health struggles stem, in part, from difficult external circumstances, like a traumatic past or a flawed culture. Through active listening, reflection, and gentle challenging, I help you become better acquainted with yourself, so that you can live in closer alignment with your values. I specialize in working with eating disorders and body image distress, but I also work with anxiety, depression, relationship and family struggles.
I integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities depending on the client, though I most often use Humanistic and Person-Centered Therapies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Somatic Therapy and mindfulness practices. In working with eating disorders, my perspective is informed by the “Health at Every Size” and “Intuitive Eating” movements.

I work with clients that are struggling with all types of eating disorder issues, as well as issues with self worth, body image and body dysmorphia. My framework stems from Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating and the belief that our bodies know where they should be and given the chance will guide us to our healthiest versions of ourself. I work with clients at all stages of change, whether you are contemplating seeking help or needing support to maintain your recovery. I believe that everyone is capable of repairing their relationship with their body and food and that we are all deserving of living a life free of the distress and pain that is associated with an eating disorder.
