Erin Heinz

Biographical Info I am a licensed psychologist and specialize in working with people with eating disorders for over 10 years in private practice. I also work with folks struggling with anxiety and depression and with family members of those with eating disorders. Therapy is a collaborative process and my style is warm and interactive. From my experience and training, I view psychological problems within the context of our relationships, attachment styles and trauma. I have extensive experience providing care for people struggling with body image, emotional eating and eating disorders. Prior to my private practice I supported women with eating disorders at the residential and partial treatment levels. Working with those struggling with eating disorders as an outpatient provider now I often coordinate care with nutritionists and meal support specialists, medical care teams and families. I support a Health At Every Size (HAES) approach and mindset, fostering size-acceptance and an end to both weight discrimination and the cultural obsession with weight loss and thinness.
