I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Oregon and I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with anxiety and mood disorders, perinatal concerns, trauma, and chronic medical conditions. I offer individual therapy services for all ages across the lifespan.

Hi! My name is Abby Ernst (she/her) and I am SO excited that you found me. I am here to help you weather the storm of your eating disorder, anxiety, body image distress, and/or whatever else you bring to the room. Through my own eating disorder recovery, and helping many clients find theirs, I have learned that no recovery journey is the same. Recovery is SO worth it, and I would be honored to help you navigate this process. I work with individuals 16 and older in Oregon and Washington with eating disorders including Anorexia, Bulimia, ARFID, Orthorexia, and Binge Eating Disorder. I also love to work with people with other forms of disordered eating and chronic dieting, anxiety, OCD, body image distress, life transitions, and adulting. I have experience working in both residential and outpatient eating disorder care, with queer and trans clients, and with both teens and young adults. I utilize techniques including DBT, CBT, and Narrative Therapy. I am committed to fat liberation, body neutrality, and anti-racist work and operate from a Health at Every Size lens. When you get to know me, you will learn that I love love love my job and am so honored to get to work with amazing, passionate, and brave humans each day. I have been working as a clinician for a little over a year, and am currently a registered professional counselor associate in the state of Oregon. Experience: - Outpatient and residential-level treatment of addiction and co-occurring mental health issues - Private group practice - Psychoeducational groups for addicts and their families I have familiarity with multiple therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and brief-solution-focused therapy. As a clinician, I believe in showing up authentically for my clients. I care deeply about providing clients with individualized care that is compassionate, empathetic, and reliable. I desire to make a difference in this profession through my determination to create positive change in our society. As I continue to grow as a clinician, I am hoping to have the opportunity to expand my clinical skill set by working more with those who struggle with eating disorders. I implement the HAES principles into my therapeutic style while meeting my clients wherever they may be on their healing journey. I am currently pursuing more education around this work.

Dr. Fisher is a naturopathic physician with eclectic training in primary care, integrative mental health, gender affirming care, midwifery/reproductive health, and nutrition. They are licensed in Washington and Oregon.

Finding the right support is so important to overcoming an eating disorder and unfortunately too many people are left feeling like they are a failure when they are unable to change on their own. Making the decision to seek out support can be daunting but it is an extremely important first step towards healing. The fact that you are here shows you are ready to move forward to build on the steps that you have taken so far. I work to join with clients to help them continue to move down the path of recovery. I bring over 20 years of experience specializing in the treatment of eating disorders at a partial hospital level of care to my work. I approach this with a deep knowledge base of the physical, emotional and social consequences of disordered eating which aids me in supporting clients to find lasting change. I provide a safe and supportive environment to work in collaboration with you to challenge eating disorder behavior. I strive to balance this with providing honest open reflection to help meet you where you are. I utilize the exploration of unhelpful thinking and behavioral patterns meeting clients where they are at in the process of change and helping them progress.

I have training and experience helping people address a variety of eating disorder symptoms from a HAES perspective. I integrate a variety of approaches to also address trauma, mood, anxiety and addictions issues, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and CPT.

I'm a weight-inclusive Certified Nutrition Specialist and Licensed Dietitian working from client-centered, gender-affirming, Health at Every Size® principles. I believe that all bodies are good bodies. My practice specializes in supporting adults with eating disorders and co-existing chronic health conditions like IBS, food intolerances, migraine, POTS, MCAS, Type 2 Diabetes, and PCOS.
