I see individuals who are experiencing feelings of depression, anxiety, body image issues, relational distress, spiritual issues, grief/loss, and eating disorders. Many of my clients are trying to cope with the effects of trauma in their life in addition to feelings of insecurity, perfectionism, self-hatred or shame. If any of this sounds like you, I want you to know that you are not alone and counseling can help. It takes great courage to seek counseling, and I can help you develop insight into yourself, learn new tools for coping, find your voice, and seek healing from your past. Additionally, I have over ten years of experience working with clients in eating disorder recovery and utilize a Haes and intuitive eating informed approach to recovery and treatment. My counseling approach is holistic and informed by the relationship between mind, body and soul. I strive to provide a compassionate and hope-filled experience for each of my clients. I draw from EMDR, IFS, attachment, and psychodynamic therapy, while also utilizing other tools tailored to each individual I work with. I work with folks 18 and older on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment issues, disordered eating and body image. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative and transparent. I'm trained in somatic- and attachment-focused EMDR for processing traumatic memories and addressing the roots of anxiety and depression. My work is driven by Health At Every Size, fat liberation and social justice. I hope to help you explore and protect values that truly support your health wellness, as well as overcome barriers to living those values, such as worry, perfectionism and negative self-evaluation. I want to hold space for the reality that your eating disorder has been an attempt to get your needs met--it's just not sustainable. You, as much as anyone else, deserve health and healing.

Katie is a non-diet registered dietitian specializing in helping clients heal their relationship with food and body. She works with a variety of clients including: eating disorders and disordered eating, chronic dieting, body image and weight concerns, pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes, lipid disorders, sports nutrition and more. While she practices with an individualized approach, Katie's foundational philosophy of instilling trust, honor, and flexibility with food stands true for all. I aim to create a space individually and with peers where you can experiment with recovery and see if it is better than your eating disorder (it is eventually). Eating disorders thrive in isolation, so peer support and building a recovery community is a large part of my treatment model. I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders. I hold a specialty certification in eating disorder treatment from Lewis and Clark. Additionally, I have nearly four years of experience working at the PHP and IOP level of care with individuals struggling with eating disorders. I believe in full recovery because I have seen it and am recovered myself. I am passionate about treating individuals with eating disorders. I work will work with you wherever you are at in recovery. I recognize the lies the eating disorder tells us to convince us to not seek treatment- the waning motivation, but I invite you to reach out. Hi there, I’m Daniella! I’m a registered dietitian in Portland, Oregon. My approach to nutrition counseling is grounded in weight inclusivity, fat positivity, and intuitive eating principles. I practice from an anti-diet lens which means I don’t prescribe to mainstream diet culture norms, instead I teach my clients how to tune into their own bodies more closely. My goal is to provide a supportive environment for clients to learn and grow in their relationship with food and body through identifying the root of the disordered eating and work on dismantling those beliefs together. I am passionate about creating an inclusive environment to provide care for all people of all backgrounds, sizes, and identities where my clients feel safe to share their story and journey. I have been working in the field as an eating disorder dietitian for two and a half years in an intensive outpatient setting where I supported clients on their road to recovery through individualized and group therapy.

I have specialized in treating eating disorders since 2010. I also specialize in the treatment of trauma/PTSD and work with individuals, couples, and families. I believe it is extremely important to take the whole person into account, as individuals are diverse and unique, so should be the therapeutic process. I take a nonjudgmental stance, while pulling from various treatment modalities to create a collaborative healing environment. I use various modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, CPT, PE, and other Evidence-Based Practices.
