My practice specializes in helping individuals grow a positive relationship with food and move away from the damages restrictive diet patterns can cause. I practice from a weight inclusive, Health at Every Size, and intuitive eating approach. I am passionate about helping clients make peace with food, movement, and their body through an individualized approach focusing more on behavioral change and less on numbers. Currently I work with adults 18+ with disordered eating thoughts and behaviors and general nutrition related health concerns. Other services I offer include group nutrition classes as well as cooking demonstrations for private groups and worksite wellness. From my love of food and cooking, I develop recipes for my blog and offer menu/meal planning assistance.

LPC, LMHC, Certified Body Trust Provider
Bio
My approach to therapy is rooted in curiosity, respect, and flexibility. I work with clients who are looking to heal their relationship with food and body, particularly those who have struggled with disordered eating, chronic dieting, body image distress, and perfectionism. I also frequently work with folks in the prenatal, postpartum, and early parenthood stages of life who are struggling with body changes and want to embody and model body neutrality and acceptance in their emerging family system. I practice relational and psychodynamic therapy and integrate Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectic Behavior Therapy when indicated. My work is deeply informed by principles of Health at Every Size, Intuitive Eating, and Body Trust®, and the underpinnings of my work lead me to dismantle sizism and fatphobia in my work with clients. I am a certified Body Trust® provider through the Center for Body Trust (formerly Be Nourished). I offer in person sessions with masks and telehealth to adults currently residing in Oregon and Washington.
