Lauren specializes in working with adults and teens (ages 16+) who struggle with eating disorders, disordered eating, body image issues, ADHD, anxiety, self-discovery, and LGBTQ+ acceptance. Her therapeutic style centers around self-compassion, empowerment, and self-exploration to help clients align with their authentic selves. She believes that the client's experience in therapy should be as unique as they are, and integrates different modalities based on the client's personality, goals, and preferences. Lauren is a bit of an astrology nerd, cat mom (but dogs are awesome too!), and is always hooked on a new hyperfixation hobby. Feel free to ask her about it! Healing is HARD freaking work! It's my goal to provide a non-judgmental and compassionate space as we work together. I try to meet each client right where they are at. I have a lot of tools in my toolbox but there is no specific blueprint. Sometimes that means holding space while you cry your face off. Sometimes it listening and reflecting back where I see your eating disorder is at play. Sometimes it means creating small goals, meal planning or eating together. Sometimes it's debunking health and diet culture myths. Sometimes it's having a good laugh. ALWAYS, it's me believing that recovery is possible for you. I've been in the ED field for over ten years and LOVE what I do. I am especially passionate about working those who have been deemed "difficult" or "treatment resistant." It’s important for me to acknowledge that my lived experience has been as a thin, white, cis, hetero woman which as afforded me much privilege as I navigate the world. I practice from an anti-oppression, trauma informed framework and am continually trying to learn and grow in these areas.

Dr. Fisher is a naturopathic physician with eclectic training in primary care, integrative mental health, gender affirming care, midwifery/reproductive health, and nutrition. They are licensed in Washington and Oregon.

Honor Nutrition & Counseling is located in Seattle, Washington and offers in person and telehealth (video and online) for pre-teens & teens, young adults and adults looking for support with trauma/ptsd, mental health issues and eating disorders. Our practice is welcoming to all bodies and backgrounds. Our clients (parents and all ages) all also get access to online courses and online coping skills for free. We use evidenced based practices like HAES, EMDR, ACT, mindfulness, and intuitive eating to provide personalized and compassionate therapy and nutrition care.

ACCEPTING FOR GROUPS* If you are struggling with an eating disorder, I can help! I know the isolation, denial, justifications and struggles that make recovery difficult. I aim to create a space individually and with peers where you can experiment with recovery and see if it is better than your eating disorder (it is eventually). Eating disorders thrive in isolation, so peer support and building a recovery community is a large part of my treatment model. If you are at the place where you want to try something different (I promise you won't forget how to have an eating disorder if you want to go back to it), then let's work together! I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders. I hold a specialty certification in eating disorder treatment from Lewis and Clark. Additionally, I have nearly four years of experience working at the PHP and IOP level of care with individuals struggling with eating disorders. I believe in full recovery because I have seen it and am recovered myself. I am passionate about treating individuals with eating disorders. I work will work with you wherever you are at in recovery. I recognize the lies the eating disorder tells us to convince us to not seek treatment- the waning motivation, but I invite you to reach out. You already know how your eating disorder will be, so let's start (or keep doing) recovery.

Hi, I'm Ellie! I enjoy supporting clients in exploring body image and patterns of disordered eating through a compassion-focused, non-judgmental, and systems-informed lens. I strive to create an accepting and supportive space in sessions for clients to feel truly seen and heard. I utilize a person-centered approach in accompanying clients on this journey with warmth, humanness, a dose of humor, and unconditional positive regard. I believe that healing can happen through supported exploration and compassionate connection to trusting and caring humans. It is deeply important to me that I incorporate approaches which honor the unique needs of every client, as it is my hope that this can be a space in which clients feel supported, celebrated, and cared for. I enjoy bringing curiosity into this work and meeting clients where they are at - I see the therapy process as one which is creative and collaborative between client and counselor. I typically work with clients age 16+. I am neurodiversity affirming and welcoming of each client's unique experiences and needs. I have completed the eating disorder counseling certificate program at Lewis and Clark and I am completing EMDR training in June of 2025. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in Oregon, California, and Washington. I have a Master’s Degree in Couples and Family Therapy from University of Oregon, I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist-Consultant through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP), and I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), an evidence-based approach to trauma. I offer clinical supervision for LPC and LMFT Associates in the state of Oregon, as well as monthly consultation for those seeking specialization through IAEDP. I started working with individuals and families in eating disorder recovery in 2012. A majority of my career has been working in higher levels of care including Residential, Partial Hospitalization, and Intensive Outpatient. Most recently, I served as the Regional Director of Clinical Services at Monte Nido, where I oversaw the clinical care and operations for five programs in Oregon. Working with eating disorders led me to the field of therapy, and I am deeply committed to working with individuals struggling with disordered eating and body image issues. I believe in full recovery and understand that eating disorders, while innately harmful, often provide emotional safety and a coping mechanism through difficult life experiences. I also have expertise in working with relationship and family systems and in treating anxiety, depression, women’s issues, and trauma. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, going out to eat, reading, cooking, and watching sports: specifically the Ducks and the Blazers!

Brooke approaches therapy with genuine eagerness to hear clients' stories, the desire to know their internal worlds better, and a commitment to exploring - together - how best to foster growth and healing in their lives. She will meet them whole-heartedly with compassion, curiosity, and the belief that the wisdom to heal already exists within them. For her, it’s an honor to walk alongside clients in their growth journey, and you can expect her to meet them wherever they are in the process with a warm and nonjudgmental stance. Brooke offers support through an integrative, feminist, Health at Every Size® (HAES®), and trauma-informed lens. She specializes in working with folks who struggle with disordered eating, helping them to divest from harmful cultural messages about weight/diet and reclaim relationship with their bodies' intuitive wisdom. Brooke also works with clients navigating the impact of trauma, life transitions, dissociation, and anxiety. Her work is rooted in social justice, and she strives to create safety in the therapeutic container for every person regardless of their ethnicity, race, gender, size, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, religion, and background. Brooke often uses modalities such as somatics, parts work, Gestalt, and mindfulness, though ultimately her approach will be tailored to your unique needs and goals. She is a Certified Body Trust® Provider in Training. She graduated from Naropa University's Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling program in May of 2025 and is now licensed as a Professional Counselor Associate in both Oregon (LPC-A) and Washington (LMHC-A).
