Bio
My approach to therapy is rooted in curiosity, respect, and flexibility. I work with clients who are looking to heal their relationship with food and body, particularly those who have struggled with disordered eating, chronic dieting, body image distress, and perfectionism. I also frequently work with folks in the prenatal, postpartum, and early parenthood stages of life who are struggling with body changes and want to embody and model body neutrality and acceptance in their emerging family system. I practice relational and psychodynamic therapy and integrate Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectic Behavior Therapy when indicated. My work is deeply informed by principles of Health at Every Size, Intuitive Eating, and Body Trust®, and the underpinnings of my work lead me to dismantle sizism and fatphobia in my work with clients. I am a certified Body Trust® provider through the Center for Body Trust (formerly Be Nourished). I offer in person sessions with masks and telehealth to adults currently residing in Oregon and Washington.

Dietitian, Life Coach
Bio
Hello! I’m a nutritionist, dietitian and life coach with a passion for helping you tap into intuition, connect to your core self, and move forward in a life grounded in your inner wisdom. I have worked as a Body Positive Nutritionist for over ten years, helping folks with disordered eating, weight concerns, diabetes, and overall well-being. I believe that every body, no matter the size, deserves to be nurtured and cared for, which is why I use a weight inclusive, body positive approach. In addition, in the past ten years, I’ve focused my continuing education on behavioral health so that I can better help folks navigate the food-mood connection. As a coach, I have a passion for helping folks identify and deepen their strengths and core values to focus on forward momentum. I have a passion for helping folks who find themselves struggling with perfectionism, all-or-nothing thinking and find themselves floundering and often feel lonely in the journey with food. I’ve integrated Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO DBT) principles throughout my work with clients. RO DBT helps those who tend toward perfectionistic thinking and black/white to improve flexibility and openness, strengthen their relationship with food and body, and build skills that cross over into other areas of life. I periodically offer Radically Open Nutrition classes. Working with Lynae will be a combination of nutrition support to help nourish your body while checking in with mental health to honor your past experiences, heal wounds that impact your current relationship with food, adapt skills to situations where mood impacts food choices. Lynae has spent the past 10 years focusing continuing education on mental health to offer mindfulness, counseling skills and offer you a toolbox that will be far more holistic than nutrition information on its own.

Bio
I work with folks 18 and older on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment issues, disordered eating and body image. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative and transparent. I'm trained in somatic- and attachment-focused EMDR for processing traumatic memories and addressing the roots of anxiety and depression. My work is driven by Health At Every Size, fat liberation and social justice. I hope to help you explore and protect values that truly support your health wellness, as well as overcome barriers to living those values, such as worry, perfectionism and negative self-evaluation. I want to hold space for the reality that your eating disorder has been an attempt to get your needs met--it's just not sustainable. You, as much as anyone else, deserve health and healing.

Bio
Hi there - I’m Mariah! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western New England University and my master’s degree in counseling psychology from American International College. I am currently working on my master’s of science in Kinesiology with a concentration in sport and exercise psychology from University of North Carolina - Greensboro. I recieved EMDR training through the EMDRIA approved trainer Thrive Learning & Publications. My focus is working with adult women struggling with disordered eating behavior. I am open to working with clients with a variety of disordered eating behavior however I have most experience working with individuals struggling with binge-eating, binge-restrict cycles, yo-yo dieting, and orthorexia. I have a background in sport and exercise as well and like to support women who love fitness but have struggled with a difficult relationship with movement/food while engaging in their athletic pursuits. This is not limited to "traditional athletes." There are so many people who do not consider themselves "athletes" but that struggle with their relationship with exercise and food and could be dealing with symptoms such as chronic undereating for their activity level, overwhelming hunger leading to binges, and loss of menstrual cycle. I am currently accepting graduate student interns for supervision starting Summer/Fall 2025.

I offer one-time visits and ongoing care in a supportive, weight inclusive environment to heal from diet culture, disordered eating and digestive distress. Sessions are collaborative, and encourage listening to your body wisdom, while holding space for and acknowledging body disruptors (trauma, oppression, illness). As a dietitian, I am here to help you navigate diet claims and food rules (what is true for you?), understand your own physiology (why does my body respond this way?) and develop a relationship to food and your body that aligns with your values and goals. Medical nutrition therapy is incorporated, as appropriate, to support blood sugar control, heart health, sports nutrition, digestion, including irritable bowel syndrome, and polycystic ovarian syndrome. Food beliefs that cause anxiety and shame are also considered, as both can influence symptoms and well-being.
